TLCS k-4 grade to have program Monday

True Light Christian School kindergarten through fourth-grade will present their Christmas musical, "Star Search." The program will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the gymnasium at 601 E. College Drive.

‘Happy Birthday Lennie’ concert Dec. 6

The SMSU/Community Concert Band, under the direction of John Ginocchio, will present “Happy Birthday Lennie” on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the SMSU Fine Arts Theatre. The concert is a celebration of the music of Leonard Bernstein in honor of the 100th anniversary of his birth. The concert is free and open to the public. SMSU Theatre presents ‘T.I.C. (Trenchcoat in Common)’

The second show of SMSU Theatre’s 51st season is “T.I.C. (Trenchcoat in Common)” by Peter Sinn Nachtrieb. Performances are Dec. 3-8 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. Show tickets are $10 and are available at www.SMSUtickets.com, and at the door. All performances are in the SMSU Black Box Theatre (Fine Arts 112), with free parking available in lot B-1. All performances are free to SMSU students with a valid student ID. SMSU Jazz Ensemble to Perform Dec. 10

The Southwest Minnesota State University Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of John Ginocchio, will perform "Celestial Music: An Out Of This World Musical Experience" on Monday, Dec. 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Theatre on campus.
