Missing Lynd man found safe in Hennepin County

A Lynd man reported missing in October has been located, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said. On Friday, the Sheriff’s Office received information on a possible location for Orion Charwood. Charwood had last been seen in Lynd on Oct. 16. Responders including the Sheriff’s Office, the Minnesota State Patrol, and the Lynd, Russell, Ghent and Marshall Fire Departments conducted a search in the area near Charwood’s home in Lynd on Oct. 23. One injured in Redwood County truck crash

WABASSO — One person was injured Wednesday when a pickup truck crashed into a ravine south of Wabasso, the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office said. A 32-year-old man was taken to CentraCare Hospital in Redwood Falls with non life-threatening injuries. Redwood County Deputies responded to an iPhone crash detection alert around 7:32 p.m. Wednesday in an area near the intersection of 220th Street and Impala Avenue, the Sheriff’s Office said.
