Two arrested in Redwood County car chase

REDWOOD COUNTY — Two people were taken into custody after a high-speed vehicle pursuit in the early hours of Monday morning, the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office said. Around 1:36 a.m., a Redwood County deputy tried to conduct a traffic stop on Noble Avenue south of U.S. Highway 71 in Redwood County. The vehicle, a 2001 Cadillac Seville, fled at a high speed, the Sheriff’s Office said. LYON COUNTY — A Chandler woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday night on Highway 91, the Minnesota State Patrol said. Izaguirre Glenda Patricia Gonzales, 41, was a passenger in a Ford Explorer that collided with a tractor, the State Patrol said. The crash was reported at 7:57 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 91 and 140th Street in Shelburne Township, Lyon County.
