BALATON — A 27-year-old man was cited for an instruction permit violation at 10:24 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 91 and U.S. Highway 14, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL — A 19-year-old man was cited for possession of a small amount of drugs in an incident reported at 8:09 p.m. Thursday on the 200 block of North First Street, Marshall Police said.

TRACY — Assault was reported at 7:49 p.m. Thursday on the 800 block of Craig Avenue, Tracy Police said. No further information was available.

MARSHALL — A 27-year-old woman was cited for failure to provide proof of insurance in a traffic incident at 2:41 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of East College Drive and Mustang Trail, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — An incident reported at 2:21 p.m. Thursday on the 1200 block of Canoga Park Drive is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

BALATON — A 47-year-old man was cited for speeding at 1:50 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 14 and Lyon County Road 7, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL — A theft reported at 12:41 p.m. Thursday on the 100 block of West Main Street is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

TRACY — An animal complaint was reported at 10:18 a.m. Thursday on the 600 block of Third Street, Tracy Police said. No further information was available.

MARSHALL — An incident reported at 1:36 a.m. Thursday on the 3100 block of U.S. Highway 59 is under investigation, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

Accidents

MARSHALL — One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 6:57 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of West Saratoga Street and West College Drive, Marshall Police said. One driver in the crash was taken to Avera Marshall Medical Center with unknown injuries, Police said. The other driver involved in the crash was cited for using an electronic device while driving, Police said.
