Two arrested following armed robbery report
MARSHALL — Two southwest Minnesota men were arrested in Yellow Medicine County on Saturday following a report of an armed robbery in Marshall.
The Marshall Police Department responded to a report of a robbery where a weapon was displayed on Village Drive in Marshall. The single victim was not harmed during the incident, according to the police report.
Through investigation two male suspects were identified and later located in Yellow Medicine County. The two males, a 33-year-old Minneota man and a 29-year-old Marshall man, were taken into custody without incident or injury by the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office and transported to Marshall. The males were booked into the Lyon County Jail.
The case is being submitted to the Lyon County Attorney’s Office for formal charges.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office and Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the incident.
