Marc Klaith was honored for his years of service with the Marshall Fire Department, during a retirement reception Wednesday at the fire station. Klaith has served on the fire department for 31 years — 18 of those years as fire chief.

Klaith, at left, was presented with an engraved firefighter’s hatchet by Ray Henriksen and Fire Chief Quentin Brunsvold.
