MARSHALL – Jacob Bottelberghe and Rebecca Sammons announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Steve and Susie Sammons of Marshall and Steve and Janet Bottelberghe of Minneota. Sammons attended the University of Minnesota Duluth and graduated with a B.A.S. in communication sciences and disorders and a certificate in autism spectrum disorders. She is studying for a master’s degree in speech-language pathology at UMD. Bottelberghe attended St. Cloud State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences. He plans to return to school to get his master’s in physician assistant studies. The couple plans a Sept. 10, 2016, wedding in Glenwood.
