ST. PETER — Police reported an officer shot by a male suspect Thursday night was in stable condition in a Twin Cities hospital Friday. The shooting of the officer, yet to be identified, was reported at about 8 p.m. on the 2100 block of Bunker Lane in St. Peter following an attempt to stop a speeding vehicle, according to St. Peter Police.
