MARSHALL — Fuel costs were part of the discussion about Lyon County’s 2026 fee schedule this week. Before approving 2026 fees, the commissioners’ consensus was to increase the overhead for area agencies to purchase fuel from the county by 10 cents per gallon. The county fee schedule sets the costs for different services provided by the county, from fees for copying documents, to landfill tipping fees and the cost of liquor and tobacco licenses.
