BALATON — A 49-year-old man was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana in an incident reported at 2:27 p.m. Thursday on the 500 block of East U.S. Highway 15, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

TAUNTON — A report is not complete on auto theft at 12:50 p.m. Thursday on the 3900 block of 110th Avenue, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said. The vehicle was later recovered, the Sheriff’s Department said.

MINNEOTA — An animal complaint was reported at 11:54 a.m. Thursday on the 500 block of North Monroe Street, Minneota Police said. No further information was available.
