Murray County Historical Society Front Porch Concert Series

The Murray County Historical Society is having its annual Dinehart Holt House Front Porch Concert Series. The concert lineup includes: The Double Down Daredevils, a Minnesota-based bluegrass band, playing bluegrass and Americana music, with a special emphasis on 2, 3 and 4 part vocal harmonies, featuring Murray County native Tom Peschges on July 30. Kindred Spirits, a jazz and blues trio group based out of Marshall will perform on Aug. 6. MAFAC’s ‘A Little Night Music’

The Marshall Area Fine Arts Council is presenting “A Little Night Music” in Freedom Park the next three Wednesdays at 7 p.m. The musicians are: Wednesday, July 29, Lynn Mullins, guitarist and vocalist. Wednesday, Aug. 5, Kindred Spirits, insrumentalists and vocalist.  Wednesday, Aug. 12,  Red River Band, under the direction of Brad Louwagie.

Streier recognized by Becker’s Healthcare

Debbie Streier, regional president and CEO, Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center, Marshall, has been named to the Becker’s Hospital Review list of “Women hospital and health system presidents and CEOs to know” for the fourth year in a row. The 2026 list includes 236 hospital leaders from across the United States. Streier is one of seven CEOs from Minnesota to make the list.
