MILROY — Isaac Schmitt and Nathan Deutz partnered on the mound to help lead the Milroy Yankees to a 4-0 win against the Wabasso Jaxx on Sunday in a Corn Belt League matchup. The two combined for eight strikeouts, allowing just four hits on the night. BROOKINGS, S.D. — The Marshall VFW Orange 15U team was firing on all cylinders in its doubleheader against the 16U Brookings Bullets on Monday. Marshall shutout Brookings 19-0 in the first game behind a one-hitter performance from Max Weedman, and did the same for a 9-1 win in the second game with a big offensive performance from Magnus Schlenner.
