Tigers tennis battles against Worthington

WORTHINGTON — Looking for its second meet victory of the season, Marshall girls tennis traveled to Worthington and kept the meet competitive throughout, but ultimately fell to the Trojans 6-1. The Tigers’ lone victory came in singles, where Kathryn Coudron battled back to defeat Worthington’s Lily Brown in three sets, 4-6, 7-5, 10-8. Cora Medina also went three sets in her singles match against Kah Moo, falling 6-2, 4-6, 6-3. MINNEOTA — Minneota football enters the 2026 season with the same lofty expectations it has carried in recent years. Tigers eager to kick off season against Westonka

MARSHALL — Coming off back-to-back state tournament appearances, expectations are once again high for Marshall football. The Tigers will officially begin their 2026 campaign Friday when they host Westonka at 7 p.m., giving Marshall its first opportunity to put its offseason work to the test. “We are coming off of a scrimmage with Mankato East last week. CANBY — After dropping the first set of its season-opener against Murray County Central on Tuesday, the Canby volleyball team bounced back with three straight set victories for a 12-25, 25-18, 25-14, 25-19 win. The Lancers were aggressive at the service line with 18 aces on the day, including six from Shyanna Stoll and four each from Emily and Kinsley Verhelst.
