RRC extends win streak to four with win over Edgerton

LAMBERTON — The Red Rock Central volleyball team strung together its fourth consecutive win on Tuesday, topping Edgerton in Red Rock Conference play 25-22, 21-25, 25-21, 25-15 behind Amelia Ubl’s 34 digs. Kendra Schroeder also contributed 16 digs, and Natasha Erickson and Zoey Keck added 12 each. Erickson’s 31 set assists were a team-high. GRANITE FALLS — The MACCRAY Wolverines were too much for the Yellow Medicine East volleyball team to handle on Tuesday night as the Sting fell in straight sets in Camden Conference play, 25-17, 25-9, 25-17. Abbey Bones led the Sting with three ace blocks and six kills while Kourney Peterson added nine digs. Charlotte Paslawski also contributed six digs and seven service aces. YME falls to 1-6 and next visits Ortonville (5-4) on Thursday at 7:15 p.m.

Lancers fall to Ortonville in four-set battle

CANBY — After winning the opening set in their home matchup against Ortonville, Canby volleyball was unable to close out another set as the visitors came away with a four-set victory. The Lancers took the first set 25-15 before Ortonville responded with wins of 25-21, 25-22 and 25-21. Despite the loss, Canby had plenty of strong moments while also gaining valuable experience from the matchup. Karli Weber accounted for nearly half of the Lancers’ 29 kills, finishing with 12. MARSHALL - The Southwest Minnesota State University women’s golf team will host the 28th annual EverSpring Inn & Suites Mustang Invite this Saturday and Sunday at the 5,877-yard, par 72 Marshall Golf Club. MINNEOTA — The Minneota volleyball team continued to show its dominance Tuesday night, sweeping Dawson-Boyd on its home court 25-8, 25-3, 25-6. Libby Sussner led the Vikings with four service aces as Minneota finished with 12 aces as a team.
