DAWSON–The Dawson-Boyd girls basketball team snapped a six-game losing skid with a dominant 75-20 win over Ortonville Tuesday night, powered behind Alivia Estling’s 23 points, 10 rebounds and four steals.
Dawson-Boyd (2-6) will next take on GHECT-T-ML (3-3) next Tuesday at Southwest Minnesota State University at 12:30 p.m.
Wabasso 62, Lester Prairie 34
LESTER PRAIRIE — The Wabasso girls basketball team picked up a 62-34 win over Lester Prairie Tuesday night.
Wabasso (3-7) will have some time off and next return to the court at Red Rock Central (0-9) on Jan. 3 with a 6 p.m. tip off.
Benson 61, Canby 50
BENSON — The Canby girls basketball team came up short in a 61-50 loss to Benson Tuesday night on the road.
Canby (2-4) will next face Hills-Beaver Creek (5-1) at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at Southwest Minnesota State University.
KMS 77, YME 67
GRANITE FALLS — The Yellow Medicine East girls basketball team suffered a 77-67 loss to Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Tuesday night.
YME (3-5) will travel to Lakeview’s holiday tournament next week and play Adrian/Ellsworth (2-7) on Monday at 2:15 p.m.
