Marshall A’s send 4 players to today’s Corn Belt League-Tomahawk East League All-Star Game

STARK — The Tomahawk East League and Corn Belt League have announced the rosters for the eighth All-Star game between the leagues that will be played on Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Stark. 

The Marshall A’s will be sending Mitchell Bouwman (3x AS), Connor Neubeck (2x AS), Talan Plante (1x AS) and Josh Kraft (1x AS) to the game.

The Bird Island Bullfrogs’ Mike Nagel and Jeremy Mortensen will manage the Corn Belt All-Stars, with Dylan Gass (6x AS), Zeke Walton (2x AS), James Woefel (3x AS) and Braeden Tersteeg (1x AS) joining the Corn Belt All-Stars from Bird Island. From the Raymond Rockets will be Brady Kienitz (2x AS), Isaac Call (4x AS), Dreyer Homan (1x AS), Eli Nelson (2x AS), Caleb Ditmarson (3x AS), Mike Jeseritz (6x AS) and John Swatzky (1x AS), while Bennett Knapper (4x AS) and Bryce Sneller (1x AS) represent the Granite Falls Kilowatts.

The Wabasso Jaxx will be represented by Adryen Tietz (3x AS) and Joe Liebl (2x AS), while the Milroy Yankees will send Branden Flock (6x AS) and Brock Schultz (1x AS)

The Sacred Heart Saints will send Jack Howard (4x AS) and Griffin Howard (1x AS) and the Willmar Rails will send Adam Herman (1x AS) and Zach Reierson (2x AS). 

The TEL will be managed by Al Flor of the New Ulm Brewers and Zach Mickelson from the Leavenworth Orioles. Also from the Brewers will be Ayden Jensen (2x All Star) JT Hoffmann (5x AS) and Andrew Peters (3x AS).

The Lamberton Long Sox will send Austin Imker (1x AS) and Quintyn Vold (1x AS).

SMSU shortstop Carter Lang (2x AS) and Nolan Drill (2x AS) will represent the Courtland Cubs, while Jackson Ludewig (1x AS) Mark Anderson (1x AS) and Caden Evers (1x AS) will represent the Leavenworth Orioles. Zach Haala (4x AS) and Arian Saenz (1x AS) were selected for the Stark Longhorns.

Last year’s All-Star MVP Jordan Milbrath returns for the third time, along with Tyler Hach (1x AS) from the Springfield Tigers. Nick Stadick (2x AS) represents the Essig Bluejays, Connor Jones (1x AS) represents the St. James Athletics, and Dominic Rose (1x AS) represents the Gibbon Reds. Mark Schommer made his second All-Star appearance for the Searles Grizzlies, Chris Knowles will make his third trip for the Hanska Lakers, and Matt Mielke will go for the fourth time for the Sleepy Eye Indians.

The TEL leads the series 6-1 with a five-game win streak, though all five of those wins have been decided by a single run and three have gone into extra innings.
