The Marshall Area Fastpitch Softball Association held its annual Southwest Slugfest Tournament over the weekend, with 29 teams from four age classes participating. In the U12 division, the Marshall Orange team finished in first place in the Silver Bracket while the Black team finished tied for third. In U10, Marshall Black finished as the Silver Bracket runner-up while the U16/18 team tied for third in the Gold Bracket.
