MARSHALL — Seniors on the Marshall swim and dive team closed out their home prep career on a high note Tuesday night, taking down Montevideo 116-69 in the final Tiger home meet of the season at Don Palm Natatorium. The Tigers featured three seniors on their roster, Alex Larson, Elizabeth Coudron and Jocelyn Schlenner.

Larson helped the team to a pair of relay wins and finished as the runner-up in two individual events. She swam alongside Finley Pelz, Alana Condezo and Grace Rokeh in the 200-yard freestyle relay, which Marshall beat Montevideo by four seconds in at 1:50.29, and helped the same group to a 4:03 finish to win the 400-yard freestyle relay.

Larson’s 1:22.89 also put her five seconds back of Montevideo’s Elizabeth O’Malley in the 100-yard breaststroke and her time of 2:29 in the 200-yard individual medley put her two seconds back of Pelz.

Coudron finished as the 100-yard freestyle runner-up at 1:04 while Rokeh won the event at 58.69. Rokeh also won the 200-yard freestyle at 2:10 while Leah Hybbert and Coudron finished at 2:20 and 2:22 to help Marshall sweep the podium.

Autumn Deutz, Anna M. Michael, Hybbert and Coudron completed the 200-yard medley relay in 2:15 for a runner-up finish behind Montevideo’s 2:08 time.

Schlenner competed in the 1-meter dive on the day, scoring 165.20 to place third. Deutz was the event’s runner-up at 175.25 while O’Malley won the event at 181.90.
