PREP SPORTS ROUNDUP: Marshall gymnastics drops dual against Worthington

WORTHINGTON — The Marshall gymnastics team fell to Worthington 144.175-121.100 on Thursday.

On vault, Cameen McFarquhar had an 8.700 while Reeanna Hassan had an 8.450. On the uneven bars, McFarquhar had an 8.200 while Kaylee VanHauwaert had a 7.150. On the balance beam, McFarquhar had a 7.600 while Kendal Walerius had a 7.500. In the floor exercise, McFarquhar had an 8.850 while Jocelyn Schlenner had a 7.800.

Marshall will compete next on Monday at New Ulm at 6 p.m.

Boys basketball

TMB 66, MACCRAY 46

TRACY — The Tracy-Milroy-Balaton boys basketball team defeated MACCRAY 66-46 on Thursday.

Tony Nelson led TMB with 19 points while Christian Wendland and Trevor Smith each added 14. Jake Turner led in rebounds with 12 while Wendland led in assists with four.

TMB (9-4) will face RRC at home on Saturday at 2 p.m.

CANBY — The Canby boys basketball team fell to Central Minnesota Christian 75-43 on Thursday.

Trevor Gray led Canby with 10 points while Evan Weber and Ty Stoks each added eight. Presley Viessman led in rebounds with six while Stoks led in assists with five.

Canby (3-12) will face Wabasso on the road on Monday at 7:15 p.m.
