MARSHALL — The Marshall tennis team defeated Pipestone Area 7-0 on Tuesday.

At No. 1 singles, Eden Knudson defeated Pipestone Area’s Brielle Kulm 4-6, 6-4, 10-6 while Leah Matzner defeated Pipestone Area’s Jenna Boeke 6-1, 6-0 at the No. 2 spot. At No. 3 singles, Taylor DePover defeated Pipestone Area’s Kennedy Manderscheid 6-1, 6-1 while Taylor Miller defeated Pipestone Area’s Jasmine Boeke 6-1, 6-0 at the No. 4 spot.

In doubles action, the duo of Leah Schaefer and Regan Loft defeated Pipestone Area’s Toryn Woelber and Emma Stahl 6-3, 4-6, 6-0 while Kaia Christensen and Kaylee Prins defeated Pipestone Area’s Alyssa Enger and Madison Purdin 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 2 spot and Dani Ewing and Samantha Maher defeated Pipestone Area’s Addison Draper and Vivian Brockberg 6-1, 6-0 at the No. 3 spot.

Marshall (9-6) will face Worthington on the road next Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
