PREP BOYS BASKETBALL: Tomahawk announces All-Conference teams

MARSHALL — The Tomahawk Conference announced its All-Conference boys basketball team on Wednesday and a couple of area players made the list.

Wabasso’s Will Carlson earned All-Conference honors while his teammate Isaac Kronback earned Honorable Mention honors. Joining Carlson on the All-Conference team was Carson Domeier, Trent Steffensmeier and Caleb Wait (Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s), Kyreis Harrison (Minnesota Valley Lutheran), Sam Knowles (New Ulm Cathedral), Johnnie Ambrose (Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop), Mason Leonard (Springfield), Caden Kleinschmidt (Cedar Mountain), Braden McColley (Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart) and Kegan Heiderscheidt (Sleepy Eye).

Joining Kronback on the Honorable Mention team was Leyton Brau (MVL), Jevan Wilfahrt (NUC), Dominic Henrichs and Damian Hopp (GFW), Brendon Buerkle (Springfield) and Dakota Pendleton (Cedar Mountain).

Domeier was named the Player of the Year for the conference while Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s Judd Walter was named the Coach of the Year.
