Marshall falls to Raymond, Milroy Yankees take down Kilowatts
RAYMOND — The Marshall A’s amateur baseball team fell to Raymond 5-2 on Sunday.
Alex Thompson, Ryan Schwagel and Dillon Loft led the way for Marshall with a hit apiece. Logan Terfehr took the loss on the mound, going six innings while allowing five runs on 10 hits and struck out three.
Brett Swanson led the way for Raymond with two hits and two RBI while Eric Hulterstum added a pair of hits and an RBI and Zach Nelson and Tyler Steen each had a hit and an RBI.
John Sawatzky earned the start on the mound, going four innings while allowing two runs on one hit and struck out nine. Tanner Bauman got the win in relief, going two innings while giving up no runs on one hit and struck out three.

GRANITE FALLS — The Milroy Yankees amateur baseball team defeated Granite Falls 5-3 in their regular season finale on Sunday.
Nathan Deutz led the way for Milroy with a 2 for 4 day at the plate, including a home run and two RBI while Matt Bauer added a home run of his own and two RBI and Braydin Kvistero had two hits.
Austin Deutz earned the complete-game victory on the mound, allowing three runs on nine hits and struck out six.
Kyle TeBeest led the way for Granite Falls with a 4 for 5 day at the plate while Craig Listul added a hit and two RBI and Brandon Grund, Bennett Knapper, Carter Asche and Tom Lindstrom each had a hit.
Ty Schulte took the loss on the mound, going three innings while allowing two runs on three hits and struck out one.
