Camden names Academic All-Conference teams for spring sports

MARSHALL — The Camden Conference recently announced its Academic All-Conference teams for its spring sports, and several area athletes made the list.

For Canby, Parker Viessman, Tyler Sayre and Jordan Ries made it for baseball while Jack Nemitz, Cameron Maynard, Jake Wagner and Jayla Hulzebos made it for golf and McKenzie Ruether made it for track.

For Dawson-Boyd, Eden Weber, Rachael Lund, Ella Mork and Elly Stratmoen made it for golf while Hadleigh Olson and Heath Buer were the lone representatives for softball and boys tennis, respectively. Avery Bartunek, Jade Bukowski, Megan Mamer, Kylie Wendinger, Georgia Will, Darius Fenske and Zeke Sather made it for track and field.

For Lakeview, Will Grube and Aaron Loe made it for baseball while Loe and Kaitlin Fischer made it for golf. Kaitlynn Bot, Kiana Imes and Natasha Blomme made it for softball while Noah Schmidt, LeeAnn Stensrud and Bot made it for track and field.

For Minneota, Jacob Hennen, Braenen Panka, Carter Schuelke, Josh Schuelke, Cole Sanow and Tate Walerius made it for baseball while Katie Konold, Madison Sorensen, Abby Hennen and Audra Buysse made it for softball. Abby Rost was the lone representative for track and field while Nolan Boerboom, Braxton Downing and Emily Rybinski made it for golf.

For RTR, Kyle Fischer and Collin Johnson made it for baseball while Rylie Hess and Rhaegyn Petersen made it for golf and softball, respectively. Cade Jorgensen, Shawna Thomsen, Dajza Gilmore, Kalleigh Carr and McKinley Schreurs also made it for track and field.

For TMB, Nathan Fultz, Lucas Gervais, Andrew LaVoy, Jake Tauer, Tyler Timm and Konnor Zick made it for baseball while Joshua Herr was the lone representative for golf. Kylie Hensch, Mariah Mayer and Mattea Steffes made it for softball while Cobey Anderson, Brooke Christian, Gabriel Struchen and Lauren Verlinde made it for track and field.

For YME, Tyler Nordaune and Jared Martin made it for baseball while Cole Mathiowetz made it for golf and Megan Nordaune, Kelsey Rhode and Tiana Rupp made it for softball.
