PREP SPORTS ROUNDUP: Eagles sneak past Lakers, 31-26
MADISON — Lac qui Parle Valley defeated Lakeview 31-26 on Friday.
Senior running back Carter Louwagie ran for 219 and three touchdowns to lead Lakeview.
Aaron Loe added 48 yards and a touchdown on the ground, while also throwing for 115 yards in the loss.
Lakeview (3-4) will host Dawson-Boyd on Wednesday.

TRACY — Tracy-Milroy-Balaton used a strong running game to defeat Murray County Central 44-13 on Friday.
The Panthers accumulated over 200 rushing yards and four touchdowns in the win. Leading the way for TMB was Sawyer Otto, who ran for 191 yards and two touchdowns. He also recorded 159 yards and two touchdowns passing.
Trevor Eisfeld added two rushing touchdowns in the win.
Dylan Johnson led MCC with 100 rushing yards in the loss.
TMB (4-3) will travel to Sleepy Eye on Wednesday while MCC (5-2) will host Wabasso on Wednesday.

Bachman Invitational
LAKEVILLE — The Marshall volleyball team opened the weekend going 2-0 on Day 1 of the 35th annual Todd L. Bachman Invitational on Friday. The Tigers defeated Cretin-Derham Hall 2-0 (25-17, 25-14) before topping Rochester Mayo 2-0 (25-14, 25-20) to close out pool play.
“It was a good start for us,” Marshall volleyball coach Dan Westby said. “We played two quality teams and came out on top in both matches. That was our goal coming into Friday.
Against CDH, Paige Andries led the Tigers with nine kills. Logan Sherman added eight kills, 10 digs and 12 set assists in the win.
Sherman led Marshall with eight kills and 13 set assists in the win over Rochester Mayo, while Jordyn Hilgemann added eight kills and 13 digs.
Marshall will close out pool play this morning against Lakeville South, with opening serve set for 9 a.m. The Tigers enter Day 2 as the only undefeated team in their pool with each team having one match remaining in pool play.
“We’ve been in this position before this season,” Westby said. “It’s important we come out strong and play well.”
