SMSU GOLF: Mustangs compete today and Tuesday at CSP Classic
MARSHALL – The Southwest Minnesota State University women’s golf team continues its fall schedule today and Tuesday competing at the 13-team Concordia-St. Paul Golden Bear Classic at The Jewel Golf Course in Lake City.
The 11-team, 36-hole invite gets underway today at 10 a.m. with a shotgun start on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
SMSU is coming off a sixth place finish at the 10-team Bemidji State Tournament last week. The Mustangs shot scores of 345 and 334 for a total of 679.
Junior Hannah Kohls led SMSU with a fourth place finish in the 59-player field with a 17-over 161 (81-80). Sophomore Anna Davison finished tied for 12th with a 23-over 167.
Following play on Tuesday, SMSU will host the 22nd annual Ramada Inn Mustang Invitational at the Marshall Golf Club on Sept. 21-22.
