MONTEVIDEO – The Wabasso volleyball team split a pair of games at the Montevideo tournament on Saturday, finishing in fourth. The Rabbits fell to Paynesville (23-25, 18-25) and Lakeview (16-25, 16-25) but defeated Ashby (25-12, 25-20) and Montevideo (25-19, 25-23).

Cora Eichten led the way for the Rabbits with 20 total kills while Ally Fenger added 10 and Halle Huhnerkoch had eight. Bella Brand led in digs with 34 total while Eichten added 26, Huhnerkoch had 25 and Avery Carlson had 23. Carlson and Kelsey Frank led in set assists with 20 apiece.

Wabasso (3-3) will host its own tournament next Saturday at 9 a.m.
