AMATEUR BASEBALL: Milroy Irish, Luverne game gets suspended
LUVERNE – The second game of the Region 13C tournament series between the Milroy Irish and the Luverne Redbirds was suspended on Friday due to rain/lightning.
The score is currently tied at 1-1 in the bottom of the sixth, with Luverne up to bat with runners on first and second and one out.
Play will resume today at 2 p.m. in Luverne. The Redbirds lead the best of three series 1-0.
