YOUTH SOCCER: Three Marshall programs win their division, qualify for state tournaments
MARSHALL – Three Marshall youth soccer teams recently punched their tickets to the state tournament, all automatically qualifying by winning their divisions.
The 12U girls program reached its way to state with an undefeated regular season, going 10-0. Marshall will compete in the C3 state tournament on July 19-21 in Rochester.
The 12U boys program needed a pair of victories to maintain its first-place lead in its division and did just that with wins over New Ulm and Fairmont last week. Marshall finished its regular season with an overall record of 8-1-1 and will compete in the state tournament on July 19-21 in Rochester.
The 14U boys program also closed out its regular season with a couple of wins, defeating Worthington and New Ulm last week to claim its division with an overall record of 9-1. Marshall will compete in the state tournament on July 19-21 in Rochester.
