AREA BASEBALL ROUNDUP: Marshall Orange holds on to beat Worthington, 3-2

WORTHINGTON – The Marshall 15U Orange baseball team defeated Worthington 3-2 on Monday.

Braxton Meyer led the way for Marshall with a 2 for 3 day at the plate with an RBI while Preston Hoflock added an RBI.

Zach Allen earned the victory on the mound, going seven innings while allowing two runs on eight hits and striking out three.

Marshall Orange (5-7) will face Tracy on Thursday at 6 p.m.

MILROY – The Tracy legion baseball team defeated Redwood Valley 6-3 on Monday.

Konnor Zick and Luc Gervais led the way for Tracy with a hit and an RBI each while Jake Tauer added a pair of hits and Sawyer Otto also had a hit.

Gervais earned the victory on the mound, going 5 1/3 innings while allowing three runs on seven hits and striking out three.
