TRACY – The Tracy Legion baseball team defeated Minneota Legion 8-7 in nine innings on Monday.

Konnor Zick led the way for Tracy with a 3 for 4 day at the plate, including recording the game-winning base hit, as well as collecting two RBI while Jake Tauer went 2 for 5 and Luc Gervais added a hit and three RBI.

Tauer earned the victory on the mound in relief, going 3.1 innings while allowing no runs on two hits and striking out four.

Tate Walerius led the way for Minneota with a 2 for 4 day at the plate with two RBI while Ted Pesch added a pair of hits and an RBI and Austin Sorensen and AJ Myhre each had two hits.

Landon Rolbiecki took the loss in relief, going 0.1 innings while allowing one run on two hits.

Tracy (2-2) will face Luverne today.

MONTEVIDEO – The Granite Legion baseball team fell to Montevideo 3-2 on Monday.

Bennett Knapper led the way for Granite Falls with a 2 for 4 day at the plate while Dalton Anderson added a hit and an RBI and Angel Jimenez and Hunter Wilke each had a hit as well.

Anderson took the loss on the mound, going six innings while allowing three runs on two hits and striking out 10.
