PREP ATHLETICS: Camden announces All-Conference teams for baseball, softball

MARSHALL — The Camden Conference announced its baseball and softball All-Conference teams on Monday.

Led by the conference’s softball coach of the year Karl Campbell, Tracy-Milroy-Balaton had five individuals make the All-Conference softball team. TMB was represented by seniors Sydney Lanoue, Evelyn Dolan, Sidney Karbo and Dakota Rolling, along with junior Brooklyn Ludeman. Mariah Mayer made the All-Camden honorable mention list.

Sydney Larson and Abby Hennen made the All-Conference team for Minneota/Canby, with Brooklyn Nelson named honorable mention.

Russell-Tyler-Ruthton was represented by MaKenzie Buchert, Kylea Baartman and Morgan Johnson, while Cora Alderson made the honorable mention list.

Also included on the All-Conference team were Dawson-Boyd’s Mary Bothun, Leah Brusven of Lakeview and Hailey Cobb for Yellow Medicine East. Rounding out the area players named honorable mention are Ashley Borstad (Dawson-Boyd), Josie Johnson (Lakeview) and Cassie Weir (YME).

In baseball, Minneota was represented on the All-Conference team by Alex Pohlen, Thomas Hennen and Brant Buysse, with Ted Pesch named honorable mention.

TMB had Moses Dolan and Jake Byrne make the All-Conference team, with Caleb Nordsiden as an honorable mention.

Representing YME were Angel Jimenez and Bennett Knapper, with Carter Sneller named honorable mention.

RTR had Jared Baartman and Hunter VanLerberghe make All-Conference while Jake Fischer was an honorable mention.

Also included on the All-Camden baseball team were Alex Swenson (DB), Evan Stoks (Canby) and Noah Jenson. Blake Mercer (Canby), Tyler Franzky (DB) and Conner Dopp (Lakeview) were honorable mentions.
