ORANGE CITY, Iowa — Sidney Karbo (Balaton, Minn.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her basketball career at Northwestern College next year.

Karbo is a 6’0″ forward who is in her fourth year playing for Tracy Milroy Balaton High School. Karbo averaged three points, four rebounds and over 1.5 blocks per game in leading her team to a 26-4 overall record. She earned all-conference honors after her junior season and is also a two-time all-conference selection in volleyball. A member of the National Honor Society, Karbo plans to major in physical therapy at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Rick and Kari.

“Sidney is a long, athletic player that has had success in both basketball and volleyball,” commented head Red Raider basketball coach Chris Yaw. “She has the ability to really change the game defensively around the rim and continue to improve her abilities to face the basket and score. We are looking forward to having Sidney on our campus and in our basketball program.”
