It is very disheartening to see the future, in the form of Braxton Seifert, arguing for cheaper energy prices at the expense of clean air and potable water and good soil. Money will not replace the Earth's resources. It is only right that big corporations should be held responsible for damage they cause to our planet in the name of providing us energy. They cannot be allowed to exploit the health of all to, yes, provide us what we want as consumers, but yes, at a profit to themselves. Responsibility must be assigned to clean up the aftermath. The motto, "It takes a village to raise a child" holds true in all cases. The Marshall Tiger girls (basketball team) took the third place state title on Saturday, March 14. When those girls made their way onto the court, you could see it in their eyes; they were going to take this win. I knew this was going to be an exciting game and it was. However, just as exciting was seeing the crowd that made their way to St. Paul to watch this game. The 3-6-2026 ‘Triceratops skeleton…’ stated the price of a set of dinosaur bones can now bring up to $44 million, mainly due to a new shift toward objects that have “cultural resonance.” Also states the bones are 66 million years old; but are they? Recent discoveries of soft tissue in dinosaur bones tells me they were probably buried rapidly in far less than a million years ago, thereby avoiding complete tissue decay.
