Don’t send buses to every town

To the editor: “RTR school building bond does not pass votes” It states RTR Schools have 721 enrolled students in PreK-12. It should be noted that of these 721 students 80 are 3- and 4-year-old preschoolers in groups that go every other day. So a daily head count for these students is 40 less on a daily basis bringing daily head count in the school each day to 681. The 3-year-old state of the art school was built for 700 students. To the editor: We have come to know life in America as freedom and democracy. The upcoming election threatens to destroy most of what we have believed in for the last 200 plus years. Having a father who served and an uncle who gave his life during World War II I find it hard understand support for a person who does not honor our past. To the editor: I am sure most have seen all or excerpts from the latest GOP ‘rally’ at Madison Square Garden. This is no doubt the most vile exhibition ever for an election campaign (and there have been many by Trump this year). The racist, name calling, and coarse language shown by various speakers was despicable. No enlightening plans for the future, just the same old doom and gloom and his grievances. Leave the Democratic signs alone

To the editor: Another weekend, and another round of Democratic sign thefts in Marshall. As Chair of the Lyon County Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, I am tired of getting calls, texts, and messages from people whose Democratic signs were stolen, particularly Harris/Walz signs. Some people have had this happen to them multiple times. Funny how it never seems to be the Trump signs on the very same block or in the same neighborhood that are stolen, mostly just the Harris/Walz signs. This is a crime. It is trespassing. It is theft.
