To the editor:

I am writing to express my strong support for Peggy Flanagan and her continued leadership in Minnesota. I had the opportunity to hear her at a town hall in Marshall on Saturday.

As a lifelong advocate for children, families, and Indigenous communities, Peggy has consistently demonstrated what true public service looks like–compassionate, principled, and courageous.

Under her tenure as lieutenant governor, she has championed policies that promote equity in education, access to healthcare, and support for working families. Her dedication to ensuring that all voices are heard — especially those too often left out of the conversation — is both inspiring and essential to a thriving democracy. She speaks with a loud and clear voice.

Peggy’s background as a community organizer and member of the White Earth Nation brings an invaluable perspective to our state’s leadership. She leads not only with her head, but also with her heart — and it shows in the positive change she’s helped bring to Minnesota.

We are lucky to have someone like Peggy Flanagan working tirelessly on our behalf. I urge others in our community to stand with her and continue to support the values and vision she brings to our shared future.
