Feeling the consequences of election

To the editor:

Trump is refusing to use emergency funds for food stamps even though the courts are ordering him to fund them. Instead of helping people that are starving, many of them children, he is appealing the court order to use the emergency funds, and that is after he and Republicans already cut food stamps by $187 billion dollars in the big dumb bill.

They also cut the USAID program that gave food and medicine to the poorest people in the world, which has already resulted in 600,000 deaths of which 2/3 of them are children. What happened to all the pro-life people? Don’t forget all the canceled grants that were for research for cures of breast cancer, Alzheimer’s, diabetes, etc. Where is all this money going? Well, 4 trillion dollar tax cut is going to the wealthiest people in the USA, 40 billion is going to Argentina, while they are meeting the need for soybeans in China, since Trumps tariff tax has put a complete stop to China buying any soybeans from America.

Trump’s new plan is to buy beef from Argentina, to lower cattle farmers income. Then Trump is ordering the DOJ to pay himself 230 million tax payer dollars because he was indicted for stealing top secret documents. Trumps number one concern is a new 350 million dollar ballroom, that is going to be 90 thousand square feet and replacing the historic East Wing of the White House.

Don’t forget about Trump playing golf three days a week, by the end of his term, will cost the tax payers 100’s of billions of dollars. Instead of feeding people that are starving, Trump prefers to live off the tax payers dime at a level that 99.9% of us will never experience. He does all this while enriching himself off the presidency.

Elections have consequences and if you voted for Trump, then you should be happy with the price hikes, loss of farm income, cancellation of disease research, and it is going to get much worse if nothing is done about the medical insurance subsidies.
