Fischbach follows the leader

To the editor:

I am sure most have seen all or excerpts from the latest GOP ‘rally’ at Madison Square Garden. This is no doubt the most vile exhibition ever for an election campaign (and there have been many by Trump this year). The racist, name calling, and coarse language shown by various speakers was despicable. No enlightening plans for the future, just the same old doom and gloom and his grievances. No details on how he plans to enact any of the promises or actions he wishes to enact.

If you have not seen or heard clips from any of his rallies, I urge you to watch media other than strictly Fox or Newsmax even if you don’t believe the regular media channels to at least get an alternate perspective. Fox will not show you the vitriol and vulgar content at these rallies. As for the MSG rally, Fox stated that it was a great rally full of fun, unity, and hope for the future. Not sure they were seeing the same event I saw.

As for the Harris interview on Fox, it was nothing more than interrupt her as she would try to answer questions. What were they trying to stop? Information getting out to their viewers?

The sad part is, GOP candidates running for office (other than those with a Puerto Rican population) have not spoken up against the bigoted comments. That includes our own candidate, Michelle Fischbach, running for congress in our district. Does that mean that she accepts and approves of Trump’s vitriolic rhetoric and those of the rally speakers?

From all I have seen of her time in office, is to follow the leader in whatever he says and the party tells her how to vote. No bipartisanship.

I ask as you mark your ballots, character matters. Vote blue for sanity.
