In response to John Coulter’s March 3 letter.

Biden’s policies in the last 15 months have sent much needed checks to 160 million Americans during the pandemic. His administration has fully opened the majority of schools. His administration has paused student debt.

For rural America his Administration has provided:

• Grants for socially disadvantaged groups.

• Tribal College Initiative Grant Program

• USDA invested 86 million in loans and grants through 218 projects.

Added 6.2 million jobs since January of 2021, the highest job growth since the 80’s, with growth of 5% percent in 2021. The number of people on food assistance declined. The world is more at ease with Biden in office with a world approval rating 62% compared to Trump’s 34%.

Although crime rates are up in larger cities, rural crime is down in Minnesota. Minnesota ranks 39th in the nation in crime. Biden has never advocated to defund the police. Crime has increased in the larger cities since the George Floyd murder with gun sales up resulting in proliferation of 10 million new guns. His administration has advocated for gun laws that would make America a safer place with no cooperation from the Republicans.

What I read in Mr. Phelp’s letter was not anger, disrespect or any kind of a personal attack. He was asking what has Michele Fischbach done for the voters in her district which is a fair question.

• She voted no on 2/9 for the Global Respect Act

• She voted no on 2/8 for Postal reform.

• She voted no on 2/7 for ending forced arbitration of sexual assault and sexual harassment.

• She voted no on 2/4 for Bio economy Research Development Act very important to our rural economy.

• She voted no on 2/28 on Creating Respectful open world for natural hair.

Fischbach is among the Republican Legislators who participated in a month’s long attempted coup and voted to reject the state certified election results of Arizona and Pennsylvania. You can go to Fischbach’s merchandise site and purchase “Let’s go Brandon” apparel, which is so disrespectful and feels like an attack. She has proven that she does not represent all her voters.

The Biden administration has accomplished a great deal with the hand dealt and the up hill climb to build back a better America.
