Don’t be too hard on the senators
To the editor:
Wow! Did you see this in Saturday’s (March 9) Independent? Mr. Weedman’s advertisement appeared, appropriately, on the obituary page. He says “A baby born alive and is laid on a metal table and left to die. Is that neglect, manslaughter, murder or just the last part of an abortion?”
On Feb. 25, both Minnesota Senators, along with 42 others, voted to let the baby die! They registered a “yes” vote for Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act (S311). We call that infanticide!
But as Mr. Weedman says further “Don’t be too hard on the Senators, we put them there.” Born alive, died alone, but loved by God. Thanks, Mr. Weedman.
