Thanks to those who educate students

To the editor:

The 220 members of the Marshall Education Association announce that Nov. 12-16 is American Education Week. This is a great opportunity to celebrate public education and honor individuals who are making a difference in ensuring that every child receives a quality education.

Educating our youth is a collaborative venture that includes students, parents, administration, teachers, nurses, counselors, paraprofessionals, custodial staff, food service staff, bus drivers, and others. We all provide a piece of the foundation that our young people need as they learn and grow every day in school.

Our association focuses on the district’s mission statement to “educate, support, and prepare all learners for success.” Thank you to the many people in our community who work every day to educate, support, and prepare our kids for success.
