COTTONWOOD — The funeral service for James “Jim” Runholt, 92, of Marshall, formerly of Cottonwood, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Christ Lutheran Church in Cottonwood. Visitation will be from 9:30-11 a.m., prior to the service at the church. Burial with military honors will take place following the service at the Cottonwood City Cemetery. Arrangements are with Horvath Funeral Service of Marshall. He died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026, at the Avera Morningside Heights Care Center in Marshall.

GREEN VALLEY—A mass of Christian burial for Daniel “Dan” Labat, 75, of Green Valley, will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday Jan. 26, 2026 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall. Visitation will be one hour prior, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will take place at St. Clotilde Catholic Cemetery in Green Valley.
