Gwendalyn Van Overbeke

MARSHALL — Mass of Christian Burial for Gwendalyn “Wendy” Van Overbeke, 60, of Marshall will take place at 2 p.m. Monday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday, with a CCW rosary at 4 p.m. and a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Horvath Remembrance Center in Marshall.  Visitation will continue Monday from 1-2 p.m., at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.  Burial will follow the service at Cavalry Catholic Cemetery in Marshall.  She died Sunday, March 17, 2024, under hospice care at her home in Marshall.

Ronald Van Keulen

GHENT — Mass of Christian Burial for Ronald Van Keulen, 89, of Marshall, formerly of Ghent, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Eloi Catholic Church in Ghent. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday at the Horvath Remembrance Center in Marshall, with a prayer service at 5 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment with military honors will follow the service at St. Eloi Catholic Cemetery. He died Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the Prairie Home Hospice McLaughlin House in Marshall.

MARSHALL — Services for Curt Sorum, 87, of Marshal are 11 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church in Marshall. Following a luncheon for attendees, burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery. MADISON—Velva Knutson, 99, of Madison, died Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Prairie Winds Assisted Living in Madison. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 22, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Dawson.  Pastor Kendall Stelter will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
