HENDRICKS — Services for Jessica Mae McCandless, 41, of Hendricks will be 2 p.m. Monday at GracePoint Wesleyan Church in Brookings, S.D. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday at Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel in Hendricks, with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service at the church. Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel of Hendricks is entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to the McCandless account at the First Security Bank in Hendricks. She died Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D.

OAKLAND, California — Visitation for Jane Hubbard (Smith) Christianson, 78, of Oakland, California, formerly of Marshall, will take place from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, with a Celebration of Life Service at 3 p.m., at the Horvath Remembrance Center in Marshall. She died peacefully April 14, 2024, in Oakland, California.

MARSHALL — Services for Doug Robbins, 75, of Marshall will be at 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church in Marshall. Burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery, followed by a reception for attendees back at the church. Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m.

LUVERNE — Services for Leroy “Red” Cable, 98, of Luverne will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 16, at the Horvath Remembrance Center in Marshall. A livestream and recording will be available at www.horvathfuneralservice.com. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Military honors will take place outside the remembrance center following the service. A private family burial will take place at a later date. He died May 10, 2024, at the Sanford Hospital in Luverne.
