Dorothy Otto

Aug. 13, 1928-July 30, 2024 SLAYTON — A private family graveside service for Dorothy Ann Otto, 95, was held at Slayton Memorial Gardens in Slayton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Murray County Food Shelf or Murray County Hospice. Totzke Funeral Home of Slayton is entrusted with arrangements. She died Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at her home. She was born Aug. 13, 1928, in Ashton, Iowa. Survivors include her two children, Jerry of Alexandria, and Dian of Slayton; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Vernon Sanow Sr.

TRACY — Services for Vernon Sanow Sr., 92, of Tracy will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Tracy Lutheran Church. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., at the Horvath Remembrance Center in Tracy. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial with military honors will follow at the Tracy Cemetery. He died Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Our House of Murray County in Slayton.
