CANBY — Celebration of life for Diane (Stratton) Melby, 74, of rural Canby will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Canby. Burial will be in the Grandview Cemetery, Gary, S.D. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel in Canby and will resume Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the church.Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel of Canby is entrusted with the arrangements. She died Friday, Sept. 27, 2024, surrounded by her family, at Ava Hospice House in Sioux Falls, S.D.

LUCAN — Services for Lynette Brau, 74, of Marshall, formerly of Lucan, will be at 11 a.m. today at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lucan. A recording of the service will be available later at www.horvathfuneralservice.com. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, and a funeral luncheon will follow the service. Burial will take place at 2 p.m. at the Minnesota State Veteran’s Cemetery in Redwood Falls.

Nov. 20, 1936-Oct. 9, 2024 WESTBROOK — Graveside services for Arlene D. (Wahl) Sahlstrand, 87, of Westbrook, formerly of Yucca Valley, California, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Rose Hill Township. Stephens Funeral Service - Westbrook Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. She died peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024, at Good Samaritan Society in Westbrook. She was born Nov. 20, 1936, to Reinie and Bertha (Mischke) Wahl in Dovray Township, Murray County. Survivors include her siblings, Larry Wahl and Marcella Chapman; nieces and nephews.
