ECHO—The funeral service for Ervin “Bill” Zimmer, 91, of Echo, will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 3, 2025, at Peace Lutheran Church in Echo. A recording of the service will be available later at www.sunsetfuneralassociation.com. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the church, with a prayer service at 6:45 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service. CANBY — Services for Menno W. Fokken, 86, of Canby will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Canby.  Burial will be in the Canby City Cemetery, Canby.  Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday, with a 5 p.m. prayer service, at Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel in Canby, and will resume Monday one hour prior to the service at the church.

GARVIN — Mass of Christian Burial for John “Sam” Herman Griffith, 83, of Garvin will be at 2 p.m. today at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tracy. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Tracy.

WABASSO — Services for George Mathias Turbes, 93, of Wabasso will be at 11 a.m. today at the Church of Japanese Martyrs in Leavenworth. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Burial will take place at St. Mathias cemetery in Wanda.

Darrel Anderson

TAUNTON — Services for Darrel Anderson, 77, of Taunton will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hope Lutheran Church in Minneota.  Visitation will be 4-7 p.m.Wednesday at the Horvath Remembrance Center in Minneota. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service; 9-10 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church. Burial will follow the service at Hope Lutheran Cemetery in Minneota. He died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2025, at the Sanford Canby Medical Center in Canby.
