CANBY — Mass of Christian Burial for Patrick “Pat” McLain, 77, of rural Canby will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Canby. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel in Canby,from 12:45-1:45 p.m. Wednesday, followed by a processional to the church for Mass. Burial will be at the Grandview Cemetery in Gary, S.D. Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel in Canby has been entrusted with the arrangements. He died Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, S.D.

CANBY — Mass of Christian Burial for Robert (Bob) Sik, 80, of rural Canby will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in Wilno. Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in Wilno, with rosary at 3 p.m. and a prayer service at 5 p.m. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at the St. John Cantius Catholic Cemetery near Wilno. Houseman Funeral Home-Birk Chapel in Canby has been entrusted with the arrangements.
