NEW ULM — Mass of Christian Burial for Monica Stephenson, 81, of Marshall, formerly of New Ulm, will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Ulm. Visitation will take place from 5-7 p.m. Friday, with a rosary at 5 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the Horvath Remembrance Center in Marshall. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church in New Ulm. Burial will follow at the New Ulm City Cemetery. She died Monday, March 17, 2025, at the Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center after a hard-fought battle with gastric cancer.
