IVANHOE—Clarence Steffes, 93, of Ivanhoe, MN died on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Tyler, MN.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m on Wednesday, September 10th at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Ivanhoe, MN.  Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9th at the Houseman Visitation Center in Ivanhoe, MN with a prayer service at 7 p.m.  Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial with military honors will be at the Ss. MARSHALL — A memorial service commemorating the life of Dennis “Black Pete” Peterson, 77, of Marshall will take place at 2 p.m. Monday at the Horvath Remembrance Center in Marshall. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service; 1-2 p.m. at the remembrance center. Burial will follow the service at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Military honors provided by U.S. American Legion Post 113 of Marshall. He died suddenly and unexpectedly Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025, at his residence in Marshall.

IVANHOE — Services for Darrell Sheik, 67, of Ivanhoe will be at 2 p.m. today at Bethany-Elim Lutheran Church in Ivanhoe. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at the Ivanhoe City Cemetery.

SLAYTON — Services for Virgil Halbur, 95, of Slayton will be 10:30 a.m. today at St. Ann’s Church in Slayton. Burial is at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Slayton.

BALATON — Services commemorating the life of Raymond Jay “Ray” Kirk, 90, of Balaton will be at 11 a.m. today at Trinity Lutheran Church in Balaton. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial with military honors will follow the service at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the burial at the Balaton Community Center.

MARSHALL — Services for Dick Richards, 86, of Marshall are 11 a.m. today at Grace Life Church in Marshall. Attendees are invited to a reception at the church, followed by burial at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Marshall. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
