CANBY–Donald Earl Houtkooper, 98, formerly of Canby, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026, at the Minnesota Veterans Home in Luverne. A Celebration of Life will be March 12 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church Chapel in Canby. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. and the service follows at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Highland Lutheran Cemetery in Brandt, SD. Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel in Canby, is entrusted with the arrangements.
