Crash injures two south of Garvin

GARVIN -- Two people were injured in a Monday morning crash south of Garvin, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

The crash was reported at 6:56 a.m., at U.S. Highway 59 and 231st Street in Lake Sarah Township located in Murray County. A 2024 Subaru Crosstrek driven by Romana Lee Ennenga, 71, of Currie, was westbound on 231st Street, and a 2021 Lexus RX driven by Sara Marie Ormberg, 45, of Marshall, was northbound on Highway 59, when the vehicles collided in the intersection, the State Patrol said.

Sara Ormberg and a passenger in the Lexus, Aubrey Lynn Ormberg, 16, were taken to Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said.

The Murray County Sheriff's Office, Slayton Fire Department, Tracy Ambulance and Garvin First Responders all responded at the crash scene.
