REDWOOD FALLS — Mass of Christian Burial for Elizabeth “Betty” Schmidt, 103, of Redwood Falls will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Redwood Falls. Rosary will be said at 9:45 a.m. prior to visitation at the church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Burial will be in the St. Catherine’s Catholic cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

She died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024, at Gilmore Manor in Morgan.

She was born Aug.7, 1920, in Wabasso ,to Joseph and Margaret (Fuenffinger) Hammerschmidt.

Survivors include her children, Charles, Phyllis Baune, Jim, Sharon Simning, Jerry, Patricia, Darold, Mike, Brenda Boklep; 27 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren.
